Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $36.65/hr, Home Daily

A. Duie Pyle is hiring a full-time local CDL-A driver to handle LTL pickups and deliveries using a day cab tractor pulling a 48' or 53' trailer. You'll be home every day, Monday through Friday.

Pay

• $36.65 per hour

• $2500 sign-on bonus

• Paid weekly every Friday by direct deposit

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

Home time

• Home daily, Monday through Friday

What you'll haul

• LTL freight delivered to and picked up from various customer locations

• Day cab tractors paired with 48' or 53' trailers

• Lift gate work, including loading and unloading at stops

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements, either already held or obtained within 90 days of starting

• At least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer driving experience

• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, current or obtainable

• Minimum age 21

• No more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years, subject to review

• English communication skills, both spoken and written

• Must qualify for and keep TSA security clearance

Day-to-day, you'll run pre- and post-trip inspections, keep the tractor and freight secure per FMCSA rules, and work directly with customers at each stop.
