About this job
Our company is hiring a solo local CDL-A driver in Swiftwater, PA. You deliver pharmaceutical materials within a campus, about 35 miles in total, and you are home every day.
Pay
- $32.62 per hour, paid weekly
- About 43 hours a week, which our company puts at $1450 weekly
- Paid training
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
What you'll haul
- Touch freight: pharmaceutical materials
- Equipment may include a 26' straight truck, sprinter van or day cab
- Trailers include a cargo van, 26' and 53' reefers
- You use a manual and electric pallet jack, lift gate and hand truck, and our company trains you on all of it
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside help and fueling at over 800 maintenance locations
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid CDL with the endorsements the job needs
- Verifiable Class A experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Pass drug test, background and driving record checks (with 3 years of previous-employer drug and alcohol verification), DOT physical and a road test
- Some customer sites add extra screening or badging
