Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $30.25/hr + Bonuses

Our company is hiring local CDL-A drivers out of its Pleasanton, TX facility. You'll haul products to drilling rigs in the region and bring back raw materials, running a well-kept 18-wheeler and various trailers.

Pay

• Starting at $30.25 per hour

• Paid overtime

• Quarterly and year-end bonuses

What you'll haul

• AES products and materials like barite, delivered from the Pleasanton, TX facility to area drilling rigs, with raw material pickups on return trips

What the job involves

• Loading, securing and unloading freight yourself or with warehouse help, using mechanical equipment when needed

• Running pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections, plus basic maintenance and minor roadside fixes to keep the rig DOT-compliant

• Staying in touch with dispatch, customers and others about permits, weather, traffic or delays

• Keeping the truck clean inside and out

• Carrying all required shipping paperwork and making sure deliveries and credits are tracked correctly

• Handling any other tasks assigned by the Regional Trucking Manager or AES leadership

Requirements

• Class A CDL with the needed endorsements and a current DOT medical card

• At least two years of commercial driving experience

• HAZMAT and forklift certification a plus, not required

• English skills strong enough to handle instructions, signs, maps, safety data sheets and paperwork

• Able to pass a random drug test, background check and fitness-for-duty check

• Willing to work paid overtime and be on call within DOT rules
