Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $28/hr, Home Every Night

This is a full-time local CDL-A driving job based out of a Windber, PA terminal, running freight across several nearby states with no touch and mostly drop-and-hook loads.

Pay

• $28 an hour

• Extra $0.02 per mile safety bonus

Home time

• Home every night

• Monday through Friday, dayshift, averaging 50-60 hours weekly

What you'll haul

• 53-foot dry van trailers, fleet averaging 4.5 years old

• Freight stays within Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio

• Loads are 100% no-touch, with over 70% drop and hook

• You get your own assigned truck, no slip seating, running Freightliner and Western Star automatics averaging 2.68 years old

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least one year of driving experience

• Minimum age 23

• Clean record: no major convictions (DWI, DUI, hit and run, homicide, assault, suspension or revocation, reckless driving) in the last 5 years

• No more than four minor moving violations in 36 months, and no more than two in the last 12 months

• Must live close enough to commute to the Windber, PA terminal daily
