CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,600–$1,900/wk, Home Every 12 Days

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for short haul, 100% no-touch drop-and-hook dedicated freight out of the Pittsburgh area. You run a steady, familiar pattern with no brokered loads, and you are home every 12 days. The company is a small, close-knit carrier with a 50-truck fleet and says drivers stay about 7 years on average.

Pay

• Weekly average of $1,600+, with top drivers averaging over $1,900 gross.

• Pay is built from $100 per day plus 12% of weekly truck revenue, plus productivity bonuses of $150+ paid weekly.

• Flat weekly pay tiers: $1,750 when truck revenue passes $7,500, $2,000 past $8,750, and $2,250 past $10,000.

• The company quotes a $75,000-$100,000 annual average.

• $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid out as $100 a week for 20 weeks.

Home time and schedule

• Home every 12 days, with 2 full days off at home (Saturday or Sunday) guaranteed.

• The pattern repeats: 12 nights out, 3 home, 5 out, 3 home.

• Extra time at home may be possible depending on routes and customer needs.

What you'll haul

• Dedicated customer freight in 53' dry van trailers, all drop and hook.

• The fleet is about 50 trucks and 150 trailers.

Requirements

• CDL-A and at least 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer driving.

• A steady work history.

• No felony convictions in the last 7 years.

• No DUI or reckless driving in the last 5 years.
