About this job
This is a local CDL-A route out of Jeffersonville, IN, running temp-to-hire with an automatic transmission truck. You will deliver medical supplies to hospitals, nursing homes and surgical facilities, with light-touch handling involved.
Pay
- $27 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross around $1,350
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Shifts begin between midnight and 4am
- Local route, so you get home daily
- Starts as a temp assignment with a path to permanent hire
What you'll haul
- Medical supplies moved by hand using push and pull carts (loads up to around 100 pounds) and a manual pallet jack
- Stops include hospitals, nursing homes and surgical centers
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 2 years of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record, with no major violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Must satisfy all DOT and FMCSA rules
- Minimum age 21
