Local CDL-A Trash Trailer Driver — Home Daily, No Weekends

Our company in Kansas City, MO is looking for an experienced Class A CDL driver to haul a 53ft trash trailer to the landfill, about 1 hour 30 minutes away. There's also container rail yard work available that gets you home every day. This is a 1099 position with no weekend work.

Pay

• Paid per load, with potential to earn $360 a day

• Loads from KC to Sedalia, MO pay $120 each

• After your 10th load to Sedalia, each additional load pays $140

• Posted daily pay range: $240.00 to $330.00

Schedule

• Early start time, no weekends, home every day

• Typically 2 to 3 loads a day, including some drop and hook

• Coming in earlier means getting off earlier and a better shot at a third load

• Good time management directly affects how many loads you run each week

What you'll haul

• Trash trailer runs to the landfill, roughly 1.5 hours each way

• Container rail yard work also available, with daily home time

• Be ready to drive off-road and through mud in wet conditions when dumping at the landfill

Requirements

• Class A CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience

• Must be comfortable operating a manual transmission

• Clean driving record

• Background in delivery or commercial driving

• Familiarity with freight transportation safety rules

• Physically able to handle the demands of the job

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Drive safely, following speed limits and handling curves with care

• Follow all traffic laws and keep a clean driving record

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers about any issues on the road

• Keep accurate logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance

This is a full-time position, working in person.
