Local CDL-A Tanker Driver — $90K–$100K/Year + $3,000 Sign-On

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver in Williamsport, PA to haul dry bulk using pneumatic trailers. This is mostly a local route, and you'll take on more hands-on responsibility than a typical trucking job, working closely with customers and handling loading and unloading with pneumatic equipment. No prior pneumatic experience is needed since full training is provided.

Pay

• Drivers in this location typically earn between $90,000 and $100,000 a year

Home time

• Mostly local routes, with drivers averaging about one overnight away from home every other week

• When you're out overnight, our company covers hotel stays through the CLC program and pays a per diem

What you'll haul

• Dry bulk freight using pneumatic trailers

• About two-thirds of your shift is spent driving, with the remainder spent loading, unloading and working with customers

• Full training is provided on safety procedures and pneumatic equipment operation

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Must be at least 23 years old to drive a commercial vehicle across state lines

• Driving experience should fall within the last 10 years, ideally within the last 5

• Military driving experience is accepted

• Able to read and speak English well enough to communicate with the public, understand road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports and records

• Must meet FMCSA physical and medical qualification standards, including holding a valid medical certificate

• Must not be disqualified from driving commercial vehicles under FMCSA rules

• CDL must be issued by your state of residence, or you must be able to transfer it within 30 days of relocating

• Hazmat endorsement needed at some locations; tank endorsement is not required for dry bulk work

• Clean driving record required: no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, no major speeding (15+ mph over the limit), no careless or reckless driving convictions, no improper lane change violations in the last 3 years, no distracted driving or handheld device violations in the last year, and no alcohol or drug-related violations in the last 10 years

• Accident history limits apply: no serious preventable accidents (head-on, rollover, rear-end, jackknife, or side-impact) in the last 3 years, with caps on combined preventable road and off-road incidents

• No safety-related license suspensions in the last 10 years, and limited administrative suspensions allowed in the last 3 to 5 years
