Local CDL-A Tanker Driver — $28/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a solo Class A CDL tanker driver in Bradenton, FL to haul water on local routes and be home every day. Pay is hourly with overtime, paid weekly, and training is paid.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, with $42.00 per hour overtime after 40 hours

• Paid weekly; this account averages $1540 per week

• Paid training

Schedule and route

• Monday to Friday, weekend hours required

• 1st shift dispatch, days of 10+ hours

• Solo deliveries within FL, home daily

• Automatic day cab tractor with a tanker trailer, hauling water (touch freight)

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement

• At least 21 years old

• 9 months to 1 year of tanker experience

• Verifiable Class A experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Pass a drug test, background check and motor vehicle record check, including 3 years of previous-employer drug and alcohol verification

• Pass a DOT physical and a our company road test

• Some assignments need extra screening, such as customer badging

What you'll do

• Drive safely and follow federal and state rules

• Watch for and reduce safety hazards

• Keep accurate records and logs

• Help load or unload when the customer requires it
