About this job
Our company is hiring a Shuttle Driver in Austell, GA to move full trailers to the local domicile and bring empty trailers back to the distribution center. This is a local CDL-A shuttle role with day-one benefits.
What you'll haul
- Full trailers of product, general freight
What you'll do
- Inspect your rig before and after each trip and file DOT inspection reports
- Make sure product is secured for safe transport
- Keep your driver log current per DOT rules (manual or PeopleNet)
- Occasionally run line haul or backhaul routes
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer experience
- Must meet our company's MVR and risk rating standards
- Sufficient English skills to understand safety and work instructions
- Background check and drug screen required
