About this job
Our company is hiring a 2nd shift local CDL-A shuttle driver for a major logistics client in Kansas City, MO. You'll be home daily on a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
Pay
- $32.50 per hour
- Overtime pay kicks in after 40 hours worked
- Pay increases over time
Schedule
- 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM
- Home every day
What you'll haul
- Shuttle 53ft trailers between loading doors at the facility
- Light-touch freight handling
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs
- Secure loads and check trailer condition
- Follow DOT and company safety rules
Requirements
- Current CDL A license
- At least 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving in the last 3 years
- Clean driving record over the past 2 years
- Experience handling 48ft trailers or bigger
- Valid DOT medical card
