Local CDL-A Route Driver — $400/Day Guaranteed Minimum, Mon–Fri

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for daily food delivery routes out of Stockton, CA. You work Monday through Friday with no weekends, and you hand-deliver to 10+ customers a day.

Pay

• Training pays $320 a day.

• Once on your route, you get a guaranteed minimum of $400 a day, and drivers average $420 a day.

Schedule

• Dispatch is at 2 AM, Monday to Friday.

• Shifts average about 10 hours.

The work

• Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on multi-stop food delivery routes.

• This is touch freight: mixed pallets, with ramp and hand truck work at each stop.

• You inspect your equipment before and after each trip, check loads against invoices, and get signatures at delivery.

• You also collect payment where required and handle returns and damaged product.

• You log your hours under DOT rules and represent the company with customers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of commercial driving.

• Age 21 or older, with a high school diploma or GED.

• No major issues on your motor vehicle record for the past 3 years.

• Pass a drug test, background check and road test after an offer.

• Current DOT medical card, or ability to get one.

• Able to lift and move cases generally 10-35 lbs, and up to roughly 60-90 lbs at some locations.
