Local CDL-A Reefer Driver — Finished Dairy Product Delivery

Our company needs a local CDL-A driver to deliver finished dairy products, like whey protein and cheese, to customers and distribution centers. You'll run refrigerated and/or dry van equipment, keeping loads at the right temperature and on schedule from pickup to drop-off.

What you'll haul

Finished dairy goods such as whey protein and cheese, using temperature-controlled (reefer) and dry van trailers, delivered to customers and distribution centers.

What you'll do

• Drive commercial trucks on local routes, getting freight there safely and on time

• Flag any delays or problems to dispatch as they come up

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your truck and equipment

• Load and unload freight with the proper equipment

• Match shipments against bills of lading, invoices and delivery paperwork before handoff

• Log hours of service, mileage and other DOT-required records accurately

• Watch load temperature and condition throughout the trip, especially on refrigerated runs

• Follow DOT, food-safety and company procedures the whole trip

• Represent the company professionally with customers

Schedule

Be ready to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with whatever endorsements the equipment you drive requires

• At least 3 years of commercial driving experience

• Food-grade or refrigerated hauling experience strongly preferred

• Experience with reefer equipment and temperature-controlled freight is a plus

• A strong focus on safety, reliability, product quality and customer service

How you'll work

You'll report into the Logistics team, coordinating with dispatch, warehouse staff, customers and fellow drivers. Clear communication and dependability matter here.
