Local CDL-A Port Truck Driver — Home Daily

Burch Ave Logistics needs a seasoned CDL-A driver to run a steady local route hauling containers between the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach and the Moreno Valley yard. You'll be home every day, with no long-haul or overnight runs.

Pay

• $6,000–$7,000 per month, with the exact amount depending on your experience, schedule, and qualifications

Home time

• Home every night, no OTR or overnight travel

• Day or night shifts may be available depending on route needs

• Occasional Saturday work possible

What you'll haul

• Shipping containers moved between the port terminals and the Moreno Valley location

• Roughly 2 to 3 round trips daily, though this shifts with port traffic and terminal wait times

Responsibilities

• Handle container pickups, drops, and yard moves per terminal rules and dispatch instructions

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and keep paperwork current

• Stay in contact with dispatch and flag any delays or mechanical problems right away

• Maintain the truck in safe, roadworthy condition

Requirements

• Active CDL Class A license

• Proven experience driving in and out of the LA/Long Beach port terminals

• A clean driving record and solid safety history

• Dependable, on-time, and professional on the job

• Comfortable navigating busy port and terminal traffic

• Must satisfy the company's insurance and qualification standards

• A TWIC card is preferred; if you don't have one yet, you can still apply but should be ready to obtain it
