Local CDL-A P&D Truck Driver — Starting at $37.94/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A City P&D Driver at the Seekonk, MA Service Center. You'll handle city pickup and delivery runs, making several stops a day and returning to the terminal each night.

Pay

• Starting at $37.94 hr

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Various shift options

• You're home every day

What you'll haul

• City pickup and delivery freight, with multiple stops per shift

• Scanning equipment used for tracking shipments

• Direct interaction with customers during stops

• Possible liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years

• Clean MVR and PSP record: no serious commercial violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Minimum age 23 (21 if you've met FMCSA's military-to-civilian CDL transition requirements)

• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times

• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening

• Must complete a road test successfully

• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without trouble

• Reliable attendance and work habits

Preferred, but not required:

• Doubles/Triples, Tanker or Hazmat endorsements

• Experience hauling hazardous materials

• Background in local delivery or LTL freight

• Familiarity with electric pallet jacks
