About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A City P&D Driver at its Pearl, MS Service Center. You'll run local pickup and delivery routes with multiple stops, scanning freight and working directly with customers, then return to the terminal each day.
Pay
- Starts at $30.66/hr
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Various shift options
- You're home every day
What you'll haul
- City pickup and delivery freight, including multiple stops per shift
- Scanning equipment use required
- Some liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years
- Clean MVR and PSP record: no serious commercial violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum age 23 (21 if you've met FMCSA's military-to-civilian CDL transition standards)
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and complete a road test
- Able to bend, lift and stoop without trouble
- Safe equipment operation and reliability expected
Preferred, but not required: Doubles/Triples, Tanker or Hazmat endorsements, hazmat hauling experience, local delivery or LTL background, and experience with an electric pallet jack.
