Entry-Level Reefer CDL-A Driver — $1,000/Week Guarantee

This refrigerated fleet based near Memphis offers new CDL-A drivers paid mentor training and a guaranteed weekly paycheck once you're solo. Routes run regionally out of the Memphis hub, with home time roughly every two weeks.

Pay

• Earn $850 per week during your 4 to 6 week training period

• Once solo, your pay is guaranteed at $1,000 per week for your first 3 months

• Drivers typically average between $1,300 and $1,500 weekly after that

• Stop pay is $25 per stop, higher than many competitors offer

Home time

• Expect to be home approximately every two weeks

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers on steady, repeatable freight

• Lanes connect Texas with Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia

• Trucks are late-model Freightliners averaging about 1.5 years old, available in automatic or 10-speed

• Freight is a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading/unloading

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 with a valid Class A CDL and at least 120 hours of CDL school

• New drivers welcome; experienced drivers need 6 months in the past year or 12 months in the past 5 years

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• No major preventable accidents within the last 5 years

• No DUI/DWI within the last 5 to 10 years, depending on when you earned your CDL

• Must pass hair and urine drug screening and show 3 years of verifiable work history
