About this job
Our company runs freight for FedEx Ground as a family-owned carrier out of the Twin Cities. This local night route has you home daily, hauling between FedEx terminals in the Minneapolis metro and on some longer runs into neighboring states.
Pay
- $260.00 to $428.50 per day
- $4000 sign-on bonus
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Shift starts sometime between 8pm and 10pm
- You're home every day after your run
What you'll haul
- 53' trailers and doubles
- 100% drop and hook, no freight handling
- Routes run between the FedEx St Paul Terminal and other FedEx terminals around the Minneapolis metro, plus longer in-state and neighboring-state runs
- You'll drive a newer, well-maintained automatic Freightliner Cascadia
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement
- At least 1 year of verifiable trailer-driving experience in the last 3 years, or 5 years in the last 10, or 6 months plus a certificate from an approved truck driving school
- Clean driving record and stable work history
- Able to pass a drug test
- Comfortable adjusting to traffic, weather, and other road conditions
- Able to work nights
