Local CDL-A Night Driver — Home Daily, $250/Day Guaranteed

This local night route out of Katy, TX delivers fresh food products around the Houston metro area. Most routes get you home daily, with occasional layovers, running a 4 or 5-day week.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum of $250.00 per day, with potential to earn more

• Training pay of $28.00 per hour for the first 2 weeks

• Activity-based pay once trained: $0.55 per mile, $0.18 per case, and $18.00 per stop

• Contingency pay of $0.4667 per minute for traffic and pre/post trip work

• Example: a day with 6 stops, 1,000 cases and 300 miles adds up to $453.00 total

• Target annual earnings of $80,000 or more

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Schedule

• Night shift, starting between 7:00 and 9:00 PM

• Runs Sunday through Friday, 4 or 5 days a week

• Saturdays off plus one additional weekday off

• Home almost every day, with occasional layover routes

What you'll haul

• Fresh food deliveries across the Houston metro area and nearby regions

• Routes typically cover 4 to 8 stops

• Freight is hand-unloaded using hand carts, dollies, lift gates and pallet jacks

• You'll use a scanner to manage your route, log deliveries and track hours of service

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with air brake endorsement

• Minimum age 21

• Able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs

• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience is preferred but not required; new CDL grads are welcome

• Must live within 40 miles of Katy, TX or be willing to relocate
