About this job
Our company is looking for a local night-shift CDL-A driver based out of Atlanta, GA, running Amazon Relay freight on a 1099 contractor basis. You'll be home every day after your shift, working six nights a week with Saturdays off.
Pay
- $310 per day, which works out to about $1,900 per week
- Paid weekly by direct deposit every Monday
- This is a 1099 position, not W-2
Home time
- Home daily, based in and around Atlanta
Schedule
- Night shifts, starting around 5 PM
- Six days a week, with Saturdays off
What you'll haul
- Amazon Relay loads: dry van, intermodal, trailer and container freight
- No-touch freight, including both drop-and-hook and live load assignments
- Trucks are Volvo and Freightliner daycabs and sleepers, equipped with inward-facing cameras
Requirements
- CDL Class A
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations, criminal history or felonies
- At least 23 years old
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Not banned from the Clearinghouse
