Local CDL-A LTL Truck Driver — $32.40–$36.90/hr + $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver in Reno, NV to run LTL freight between company terminals and customer locations within a set area. You'll handle pickups, deliveries and the paperwork that goes with them, keeping freight claims-free and on schedule.

Pay

• $32.40 to $36.90 per hour

• $7,500 sign-on bonus currently being offered; ask your recruiter for the details

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor trailer to pick up and deliver customer freight

• Sort, load and unload freight at terminals and customer sites

• Plan your own routes and schedule to hit pickup and delivery times

• Follow pre-trip, post-trip, freight-handling and billing procedures

• Complete safety and quality inspections

• Keep accurate load paperwork and records

• Act as the first point of contact when delivery issues come up

Requirements

• Class A CDL with hazmat (X or H), tanker (N) and double/triple trailer (T) endorsements

• At least 21 years old

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience

• Able to read, write and speak English

• No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations in any vehicle in the past 3 years

• No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations in the 6 months before applying
