About this job
Our company is looking for an OTR CDL-A driver to haul freight across designated regions, running tractor-trailers, reefers and flatbeds. You'll be on the road full time, moving varied cargo with care while keeping deliveries on schedule.
Pay
- Weekly pay between $1,400.00 and $2,300.00, based on odometer miles run that week
- Bonus and incentive opportunities worth an extra $4,000 to $10,000 per year
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers and flatbeds
- Mixed freight including temperature-controlled goods and flatbed loads, handled with care
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned regional routes safely, following traffic laws and safety rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to stay DOT compliant
- Keep delivery paperwork accurate and stay in touch with dispatch
- Load and unload freight as needed
- Spot and report vehicle problems, and keep the truck clean inside and out
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Solid background driving tractor-trailers or handling freight routes
- Able to operate flatbeds and reefers
- Familiar with load and unload procedures
- Capable of basic maintenance checks and minor troubleshooting
- Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance
