About this job
Our company, Inc. needs full-time local Class A CDL drivers to haul logs and wood chips around central Minnesota, working out of the Brainerd shop and returning home nightly.
Pay
- From $27.50 an hour
Home time
- You're back home every night, with full-time, year-round work
What you'll haul
- Logs and wood chips on a Class A tractor-trailer within central Minnesota
What you'll do
- Run pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks
- Keep accurate driver logs in line with DOT rules
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions and proper endorsements
- Clean driving record, no major violations in the past three years
- No preventable accidents causing injury or fatality in the past three years
- At least two years of tractor-trailer experience
- At least 23 years old
- Must meet FMCSA standards
- Experience hauling logs or wood chips is a plus
- You'll need to live within about 45 minutes of the Brainerd/Baxter area for reliable year-round commuting
