About this job
Drive local intermodal and port routes out of Compton, CA with a carrier offering steady, year-round freight. You'll be home every day, working drop-and-hook loads with no touch freight.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Choice of day shift (starting between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM) or night shift (starting between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM)
- Shifts run 10 to 12 hours
Pay
- Paid per load, earning up to $360 per day (up to $1,800 per week)
- First two weeks guaranteed at $1,250 per week
What you'll haul
- Local intermodal and port freight
- Drop-and-hook, no-touch loads
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Able to obtain TWIC and Hazmat endorsements within 60 days of hire (the company covers the cost)
- Clean driving record
