Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $19.25/hr

Our company needs Class A drivers for a dedicated local intermodal account based in Fontana, CA. It is a night-shift job with you home every day, and drivers with about 6 months of recent experience are welcome to apply.

What you'll haul

• All freight is no-touch, drop-and-hook, and that includes moving empty chassis

• Lanes run from Fontana to Los Angeles, Bloomington, Long Beach and City of Industry

• Expect roughly 3 to 6 loads in a night

Schedule and home time

• Nights only, on a Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday rotation

• Some day driving may come up as well

• You get home daily

Pay

• $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 for each stop

• The company estimates $1,400 to $1,800 per week

Requirements

• Age 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL and at least 6 months of recent Class A driving

• Driving record free of accidents, tickets and suspensions for the past 5 years

• Not terminated from your latest job

• No DUIs, felonies or misdemeanors in the past 5 years; the safety department looks at criminal history case by case

• A steady 10-year work history with no big gaps outside school or training, including 6 months of work in the last year and 1 year in the last 3

• Able to pass urine and hair drug screens before hire

• Living within 15 miles of Fontana, CA
