Local CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver — Home Daily, Avg $2,119/Week

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run local flatbed routes out of Thomson, GA, with home time every day. You'll run solo within Georgia on a Monday-Friday schedule with a 6:00 AM dispatch.

Pay

• Drivers on this account average $2,119 per week

• Paid weekly, based on mileage plus stops

• Hourly delay pay kicks in after the first hour of waiting

• Layover pay included

• Paid training provided

Home time and schedule

• Local route, home every day

• Works Monday through Friday

• Dispatch time is 6:00 AM

What you'll haul

• Day cab tractors pulling 53ft flatbed trailers

• Freight requires strapping and tarping for load securement only

Equipment and support

• Trucks are kept up through 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling access at more than 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 22 years old

• Must pass our company's drug screening, background check, motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from employers over the past 3 years), DOT physical, and road test

• Valid Class A CDL with the endorsements the role calls for

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 12 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to follow spoken and written directions and apply relevant laws, regulations, and procedures

• Additional requirements may apply depending on location or account

What the job involves

You'll be responsible for driving safely in line with DOT rules, keeping up with ongoing training, and providing good customer service. This can also include spotting and addressing safety hazards, keeping accurate logs and records, helping load or unload freight when the customer requires it, and other assigned tasks.
