Local CDL-A Flatbed Steel Hauler — $23–$26/hr

Our company is hiring a full-time, first-shift driver to haul structural steel on flatbed trailers out of their Hope, IN facility. When there's no driving to do, you'll pitch in around the shop and yard as a general laborer.

Pay

• $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience

• Overtime available

What you'll haul

• Fabricated structural and miscellaneous steel, delivered to jobsites and vendors

• Flatbed trailers only (this is not a box-trailer position)

Responsibilities

• Secure loads properly and keep them DOT compliant

• Run pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

• Keep delivery logs and paperwork accurate

• Stay in communication with supervisors and field crews

• When not driving: help load and unload materials, keep the shop and yard organized, support shop staff with labor tasks, and run forklifts or overhead cranes (training provided)

Requirements

• Class A CDL with no restrictions

• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol testing

• 2+ years hauling fabricated structural steel or oversized loads preferred

• 2 years of steel fabrication experience required

• Able to lift 50+ lbs, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk through the shift

• Comfortable working in shop conditions (noise, heat, steel handling, required PPE)
