Local CDL-A Flatbed Driver — Home Every Night, $55K–$75K/Year

Our company needs a local CDL-A flatbed driver in Indianapolis, IN to move pallets around the region. Expect about 50-55 hours a week, and you'll sleep in your own bed every single night. This is flatbed work, so strapping and securing loads is part of the job.

Pay

• $55,000 - $75,000 per year

Home time

• Local runs only, home every night

What you'll haul

• Pallets picked up and dropped off on flatbed trailers across the region

• You'll be responsible for tying down and securing each load properly

What the job involves

• Running tractor-trailer combinations in line with DOT regulations

• Mapping out smart routes based on road and weather conditions and what customers need

• Checking your rig before, during, and after each trip

• Flagging any equipment problems, hazards, or incidents right away

• Staying in touch with dispatch about your progress and any delays

• Collecting signatures and handling paperwork electronically

Requirements

• Current CDL-A

• Minimum 2 years behind the wheel in a Class A rig, or comparable time in the military

• 21 or older

• No major violations on your driving record

• Current DOT medical certification

• Able to clear a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check

• Work history and references that can be verified
