This Elk Grove Village, IL trucking company is hiring local CDL-A drivers to run dry van freight around the Chicagoland area and be home every day.
Pay
- Average weekly earnings of $1,900, paid every Friday via direct deposit
- Straight pay with no overtime, and you're paid for all miles driven
- Compensation is structured as 1099 (independent contractor)
Home time
- Home every day
- Schedule runs Monday through Saturday
- Shifts begin around 6:00 AM and typically last 12 hours
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight exclusively
- About 1,200 miles covered each week, within roughly 200–400 miles of the Chicago area
- Loads are 70% drop-and-hook and entirely no-touch
- You'll drive a 2025–2027 automatic Volvo or Freightliner, assigned permanently to you
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum six months of driving experience
- Live within 40 miles of Elk Grove Village, IL and be able to get to the terminal on your own
- Clean driving record and clean criminal background
