Local CDL-A Driver — No Overnights, $90,000–$125,000/yr

Our company, a metals recycling facility in Greenfield, MA, is hiring a full-time CDL-A driver for daytime routes with no overnight trips. Prior experience is a plus, but they'll train the right candidate, provided you can handle a manual transmission.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, daytime hours only

• Guaranteed 40 hours a week, year-round

• Most weeks run 50-65 hours

• Overtime available on Saturdays

Pay

• $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year

What you'll do

• Haul materials to and from recycling sites

• Check your truck for mechanical or safety problems and keep up with routine maintenance

• Keep records of driving hours, rest breaks, mileage, and hang on to fuel and toll receipts

• Follow all applicable trucking regulations around size, weight, routes, parking, and breaks, along with company procedures

• Back trucks into position for loading and unloading

• Confirm delivery details before and during runs

• Flag any equipment issues, accidents, or violations right away

Requirements

• CDL-A license

• At least 1 year shifting an 18-speed transmission

• Able to commute to Greenfield, MA
