About this job
Our company, a family-owned carrier based in Oak Creek, WI, is looking for a local CDL-A driver to join their team. You'll run local routes and be home every day.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, starting between 5:00am and 7:00am
- Workdays average 9 to 13 hours
- You'll depart from and return to the Oak Creek headquarters each day
Equipment
- Automatic transmission trucks, likely Volvo tractors
- 53 ft dry van or reefer trailers
Pay
- Starting at $26.00 per hour (one section of this posting also lists $25.00 per hour)
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- 2 to 3 years of Class A driving experience strongly preferred (2 years required per the job details)
- Operate your assigned truck safely, follow all applicable laws, and report any mechanical issues, accidents, violations, or damage
