About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers to run a dedicated grocery account near Lees Summit, MO, with nightly runs back home every day. No prior trucking experience is required, and first-seat drivers are welcome.
Pay
- Typical weekly earnings range from $1,100 to $1,200
- $15 paid for every stop beyond the first
- $25 short haul pay
- Extra bonus available if you meet the company's safety performance standards
Home time
- Drivers return home every day
- Runs are overnight, including weekends and holidays
What you'll haul
- Dry and refrigerated grocery loads bound for Walmart stores around Kansas City
- Freight is no-touch: stores handle the unloading, though some wait time can occur
- Expect 1,100 to 1,400 miles per week, mostly live unloads with occasional drop-and-hook
Requirements
- Current CDL-A license
- Open to new drivers and experienced first-seat drivers
- No extra endorsements needed
- Live within 50 miles of Lees Summit, MO
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
