Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, Mostly No-Touch Freight

Our company, a corrugated packaging and warehouse solutions provider in Thomson, GA, needs a CDL-A driver for local, home-daily runs delivering materials to customers. Most of the freight is no-touch, though you'll occasionally help load and unload.

Schedule

• Day shift, around 40 hours a week

• Overtime required when needed, including some weekends

• Home every day

• Paid bi-weekly

What you'll do

• Deliver materials to customers and other locations on time and accurately

• Occasionally help load or unload corrugated materials (mostly no-touch freight)

• Follow safety rules during transport and delivery

• Do routine truck inspections and report mechanical problems, delays, or incidents right away

• Keep accurate delivery records, including confirmations and any discrepancies

• Communicate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and teammates, and handle customer questions professionally

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Valid DOT medical certification

• At least 21 years old

• 2-3 years of recent experience driving with a CDL-A

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs on your own, and up to 50 lbs with help

• Able to load and unload corrugated materials with attention to detail

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and routine inspections

• Comfortable driving for extended periods
