Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, Drop-and-Hook

This local CDL-A position runs dedicated retail freight out of the Chicago, IL area with mostly drop-and-hook deliveries and daily home time. Pay is CPM-based, averaging around $1,550 a week, with possible extra bonuses.

Pay

• Home every day

• Six days on, then a 34-hour reset

• Set days off may be added later

• Expect night driving

What you'll haul

• Retail freight on short local routes

• About 95% drop-and-hook, with occasional pallet jack unloading

• 23+ stops per week typical

• Longest round trip runs about 91 miles

• Trucks are automatic with 53-foot trailers

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history, no SAP drivers

• Able to work nights and a six-day week

• Must have your own way to get to and from work
