Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $30–$32/hr

This local, home-daily route runs for a FedEx contractor out of the Downey hub, pulling 28' doubles and 53' trailers between facilities and the BNSF and UP rail yards. It's a drop-and-hook operation with no touch freight, running Monday through Friday nights starting at 8pm.

Pay

• $30.00 to $32.00 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 8 hours worked

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Home time

• Home every day, local routes only

• Drayage moves to and from BNSF and UP rail yards

Requirements

• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years

• Valid Class A CDL with a doubles endorsement

• Minimum age 21

• Clean record: no DUIs, cell phone citations, reckless driving, or license suspensions

• No felony or misdemeanor convictions

• Must pass a background check, criminal check, drug screen, and physical

• Current DOT medical card required
