About this job
DNA Logistix needs Class A drivers for dedicated local runs out of Southlake, TX. No OTR, no weekly trips — you sleep in your own bed every night. This is a 1099 contractor role with both overnight and midday shifts available, running Monday to Friday with weekends free.
Pay
- $290-$310 per day to start
- Works out to $31.50-$37.94 an hour
- Paid out weekly
Home time
Every day is a home day. Nothing on this contract keeps you out overnight on the road or away for a full week.
What you'll haul
- Dry van loads in 53ft trailers
- Dedicated lanes with touch freight
- A handful of overnight runs that are unattended
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- At least 2 years of CDL driving experience that can be verified
- No major violations on your driving record for the past 5 years, plus a clean background check and clean Clearinghouse file
- Clean PSP report
- Able to lift as much as 50 lbs
- Confident handling a 53ft rig and running GPS navigation
- Doubles/Triples endorsement is a bonus, not required
