About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a local, home-daily route out of Austin, TX, hauling no-touch auto parts freight in a day cab pulling 48' or 53' dry vans.
Pay
- $27.00 per hour, paid weekly
- 40 or more hours per week, with weekly earnings of $1080 or more
- Paid training included
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- Dispatch starts at 6:00 pm
- Local route home daily, driving solo to surrounding areas
What you'll haul
- No-touch auto parts freight
- Day cab tractors with 48' and 53' dry van trailers
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling support at over 800 locations nationwide

Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
- Previous employer drug and alcohol verification covering the last 3 years
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment or education verification, badging, or customer-specific background checks
Responsibilities
- Follow applicable federal and state regulations
- Spot and address safety hazards
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Load or unload freight when required by the customer
- Handle other assigned duties
