Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $27/hr Drop-and-Hook

Our company has a 13-week local Class A driving assignment in Milwaukee, WI, paying $27.00 per hour. This is a second-shift, slip-seat role hauling mostly no-touch, drop-and-hook freight on local routes, with drivers home daily.

Pay

• $27.00 per hour

• Expected 50+ hours per week

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Second shift, dispatch around 4:00 PM

• Shifts typically run 8-10 hours

• 13-week assignment, slip-seat position

What you'll haul

• Automatic day-cab tractors pulling 53' dry van and/or flatbed trailers

• Recycled wooden pallets moved between customer facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and a plant

• Drop-and-hook, primarily no-touch freight, about 5-8 stops per route

• Routes stay within about a 150-mile radius

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum age 23

• At least one year of CDL-A experience within the past three years

• Pass a DOT physical and DOT road test

• No more than two moving violations in the past three years

• PSP report score of 10 or below (higher needs extra approval)

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Able to handle physical demands including lifting 50-75 lbs and working outdoors
