About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a local route out of Tampa, FL, delivering US Mail within a 150-mile radius and getting home every day.
Pay
- $27.89 per hour, paid weekly
- Possible additional $5.55 Health & Welfare Stipend
- Average weekly earnings reported between $1,150 and $1,337 based on 35-40 hours
Schedule
- 7-day operation with 1 day off
- Dispatch window between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Typically 35-40 hours weekly
What you'll haul
- 53' dry van trailer with rolling carts
- Touch freight consisting of US Mail
- Equipment is 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and access to 800+ maintenance locations nationwide
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
- Tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Pass a drug screen, background check, MVR review and DOT physical
- Pass a our company road test
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant regulations
- Additional USPS Federal Level 2 background screen and Selective Service registration where applicable
