Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $26–$28.50/hr

This is a full-time dedicated local driving job based in Sacramento, CA, for CDL-A drivers with at least a year of experience. You run routes around Sacramento and the Bay Area, drop preloaded freight at retail stores, and return to Sacramento after every shift.

Pay

• Hourly pay from $26.00 to $28.50, set by your verifiable experience.

• 1 year: $26.00/hour. 2-4 years: $26.25-$26.75. 5-7 years: $27.00-$27.50. 8-10 years: $27.75-$28.50.

• Weekly earnings average around $1,500. Some veteran drivers make $2,000 or more, but that is not guaranteed and depends on hours and routes.

Schedule and home time

• You are home daily.

• Shifts usually start between midnight and 3:00 AM, and day and night shifts are both used.

• You get next-day schedules ahead of time.

• Weekends and holidays are part of the job; days off usually fall during the week.

What you'll do

• Haul preloaded trailers to retail locations across Sacramento and the Bay Area.

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Handle live unloads and pitch in with unloading when asked.

• Follow DOT regulations and company safety rules.

• Keep delivery paperwork accurate.

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL with no extra endorsements needed.

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.

• You must live within 30 miles of ZIP code 95837.

• Able to start early in the morning and work weekends and holidays.

• A safe driving record and compliance with DOT and FMCSA rules.
