About this job
Our company has an opening for a Class A CDL driver running local routes out of Taunton, MA 02780. You'll be back home every day, with no weekend shifts, hauling dry van freight within a 150-mile radius and lending a hand unloading building supplies at delivery stops.
Pay
- $29.77 per hour, guaranteed at $1623.24 a week
- Paychecks issued weekly
- Expect 40+ hours a week
- Training is paid
Home time
- Out and back daily, Monday through Friday
- Weekends off
- Shifts begin around 5:30 AM
What you'll haul
- 53' dry van trailers
- Day cab and sleeper tractors, all under 36 months old
- A manual pallet jack is used when helping unload building materials
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Current Class A CDL with needed endorsements, hazmat included
- Able to pass a drug screen, background review, motor vehicle record check, DOT physical, and a road test
- Class A driving history that meets one of these: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
