About this job
Our company, an LTL carrier, is hiring a local day-shift CDL-A driver out of Latham, NY. You'll be home every day, running pickup and delivery routes for customers, with some forklift work involved.
Pay
- Starting at $1,800 per week for new day-shift drivers
Home time
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- Less-than-truckload freight on local pickup and delivery routes
- Occasional forklift operation at stops
Requirements
- At least 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience on day shift
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to get them
- No more than 1 DUI ever, and none in the last 5 years
- No major accidents (rollover, jackknife, low bridge strike) in the last 5 years
- No failed or refused drug tests, and must pass a DOT drug screen plus hair follicle test
