About this job
Our company in Portland, OR is looking for a local CDL-A driver for intermodal and container runs. You'll be home every day, running evening shifts on either a Sunday-to-Thursday or Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule.
Pay
- $1,400 to $1,800 per week
- About 1,500 miles per week
Home time
- Home daily, evening shift
- Schedule options: Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday
What you'll haul
- Intermodal and container freight
What you'll do
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Deliver freight on schedule
- Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- At least 3 months of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
- Must pass a DOT drug screen
