Local CDL-A Driver — $33.90–$34.65/hr

Our company, an LTL carrier operating across North America, is looking for a Local Driver in Springfield, MA to haul freight safely and on schedule while representing the company well with customers.

Pay

• Starting rate of $33.90/hr, with pay up to $34.65/hr

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer locally, delivering freight accurately and on time

• Load and secure cargo properly before each trip

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues

• Keep accurate records of driving hours, routes and cargo condition

• Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, delays or other issues

• Handle customer interactions professionally, including questions or concerns

• Follow all local, state and federal transportation rules and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in your state of residence

• Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements

• Minimum age 21

• Must meet DOT and company qualification standards

• Able to perform the physical duties of the job safely, without risk to yourself or coworkers

• Able to read, write and speak English

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• A full 10-year work history must be listed on your application, per FMCSA rules
