Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Minneapolis, MN to run flatbed and curtain side trailers, delivering freight and returning home every night and weekend.
Pay
- Starting pay rate of $33.77 per hour
Schedule
- First shift hours
- Home every night and every weekend
What you'll haul
- Flatbed and curtain side trailers
- Loads secured with straps only, no tarping required
- New, well-maintained equipment
What you'll do
- Strap down and secure your loads properly
- Deliver freight accurately and on time, and handle customer returns when needed
- Collect and manage proof of delivery paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers and report any issues
- Complete daily safety checks and required DOT inspections
- Keep your electronic logbook current and finish trip reports
- Direct customers in unloading when necessary
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience within the last 3 years
- Clean driving record
- Able to secure loads and work outdoors in any weather
