Local CDL-A Driver — $29/hr, Home Daily, Mon–Fri

Our company needs Class A CDL drivers for a local dedicated account near Minneapolis, MN. You'll run dry van freight on a Monday through Friday schedule and be home every day, with steady, year-round miles.

Pay

• Starting pay is $29 per hour

• Time-and-a-half after 40 hours worked

• Paychecks issued weekly

• You get paid for orientation and for training

Home time and schedule

• Home daily

• Monday through Friday

• Shifts typically run 8:00 AM to roughly 5:00 or 6:00 PM, with workdays usually lasting 9 to 10 hours

• Expect 40 to 50 hours in a typical week

What you'll haul

• Mostly dry van loads, with some container moves (training provided for those)

• About 90% of the work is drop-and-hook on overnight freight; the rest involves live unloads that customers handle themselves

• Runs stay within Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, with the farthest trips around 300 miles

• Trucks and trailers stay parked at the terminal between runs

Equipment

• Automatic-transmission Volvo and Freightliner tractors — no manuals

• Dry van trailers, plus demountable containers on occasion

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of recent, verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers

• You need to live within 30 miles of Minneapolis, MN

• A clean safety record

• Dependable transportation to get to and from work
