About this job
Our company needs a dependable Class A CDL driver for local delivery routes out of Columbia, MO. You'll drive a tractor-trailer and hand-unload products like meat, produce, frozen goods, groceries and dry goods for customers on your route, building relationships along the way.
Home time
- Most driver trainees run daily routes and get home nightly
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with an insurable driving record
- Pass required employment testing
- Able to read and speak English well enough to handle road signs, official requests and paperwork
- Capable of lifting, pushing or moving 40 to 60 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds at times
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- Preferred: a year of delivery experience, six months with a hand truck, six months in food and beverage, and two years of steady work history
