Local CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — $29.38/hr Plus Incentives

Our company is looking for reliable local CDL-A truck drivers in Lubbock, TX to run assigned delivery routes, handing off meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and supplies to customers. You'll drive a tractor-trailer and unload product by hand at each stop, building good working relationships with the people you serve along the way.

Pay

• $29.38 per hour, plus performance-based incentives

Home time

• Most drivers run daily routes and return home each night

What you'll haul

• Meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and other supplies delivered to customer locations on a set route

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets company insurability standards

• Must pass pre-employment testing

• Able to read and speak English well enough to talk with customers, understand road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports and records

• Able to repeatedly lift, push or move product averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds

• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

• Preferred: 1 year delivering to customers, 6 months using a hand cart or hand truck, 6 months in food and beverage work, and 2 years of steady work history
