About this job
Our company needs a local CDL-A delivery driver in Evansville, IN to run set routes to small retail stores. You'll hand-unload your truck with a dolly, stock shelves and coolers, and build relationships with store customers along the way. No prior experience needed - full hands-on training is provided after you're hired.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, starting at 4:30am and running until the route is complete
- Local routes only, no overnight travel
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
Pay
- Starts at $28.14 per hour
- Increases to $29.60 per hour in the quarter following your 6-month work anniversary
What you'll haul
You'll deliver beverage products using equipment that may include tractor-trailers, pup trailers, box trucks, 28, 32 and 53 ft trailers, delivery trucks, side-load/side-bay units, liftgate trailers, pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to repeatedly lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
- Must qualify and stay qualified under DOT driver file standards
