About this job
CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a local Class A CDL delivery driver in New Castle, CO. You'll run a dedicated local route, home daily, delivering and picking up freight between customer locations and the terminal.
Pay
- $36 per hour
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Home daily on a dedicated route with consistent miles and hours
What you'll do
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver and pick up freight at customer locations and the terminal
- Load, unload, sort, and palletize freight, manually or with equipment
- Complete all required shipping paperwork and ensure documents are ready for DOT inspection
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required, or willingness to obtain them (renewal costs reimbursed)
- Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment
